The State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) mission is to increase the number of U.S. small business exporters and increase their export sales.
The STEP program can reimburse a portion of a company's eligible cost for the following:
- Attending international trade shows, international sales trips and select domestic trade shows. A full list of eligible domestic trade shows is available by clicking here
- Attending state-led trade missions
- Participating in US Commercial Service's Matchmaking Programs such as Gold Key, International Partner Search, International Company Profile, Business Facilitation Search, and other USDOC Programs.
- Translation Services, such as print company profiles, catalogs, product literature, packaging, labels or manuals for international distribution.
