Yankton Area Progressive Growth, Inc. Mission: to advance and develop the City of Yankton and immediate vicinity, industrially, by offering assistance to industries and business.

The corporation is empowered to buy and construct plants for lease or sale; provide funds for loans to industry and render other assistance, financial or otherwise.

YAPG, Inc. was formed in 1978 by a group of local business individuals.  The corporation is empowered to buy and construct plants for lease or sale; provide funds for loans to industry and render other assistance, financial or otherwise.  They are a 501 (c) 6, non-profit, community development corporation that does primarily real estate and incentive financing activity related to industrial development.   YAPG, Inc. has a board of directors that are elected for a three year term.  Funding comes from membership dues and capital campaigns.
